This place is amazing with a charming traditional building, excellent service, and fantastic value, conveniently located near the ski slopes and the heart of a cozy ski region.

Spacious room, exceptionally comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom. Great location in a beautiful area, and only about 5 minutes' walk to Sankt Johann in Tirol centre. Courteous staff onsite.

Very good standard hotel located short walk to the centre of a picturesque village, and western Austria. Excellent location, at a short distance from Leukental.

It was family friendly, cozy, near the slopes and we had a great time. It suited the five of us perfectly and the staff was incredibly helpful and accomodating. The fact that this was an old hotel gave it a lot of ambience - which we enjoyed tremendously. Highly recommend it to a family with kids that want to enjoy skiing and staying in traditional Austrian style.

Apart from the room, there are no other facilties like pool, sauna, or other, for kids to do in the evening.

The Hotel was run down, short staffed, badly maintained. Our room smelled strongly of food, the bath was never cleaned, floor dirty and the Bed clothes not aired properly. Advertised as a three star hotel I wouldn't give it one!!! Apart from the dodgy wiring, Ceiling lights coming away from their fittings and bedside lamps with badly burned shades, there were also several breaches of fire regulations with fire doors wedged open, laundry bins permanently lining the corridors and only two fire extinguishers for 3 floors and over 50 rooms! So sad that what was once a terrific family run hotel with a wealth of history has gone to ruin.

Unfortunately we didn't like anything about our stay. We tried to leave after 2 days but were told we would still have to pay the full amount for the week! Didn't feel like arguing so ended up putting up with it. The manager even admitted that he wasnt giving a 4 star service!!!

Enjoyed my stay in a newly decorated room within a charming building that offered a peaceful atmosphere and an excellent central location in the village.

Our room was very comfrtable with a balcony and a spacious bathroom. Hotel situated right in the centre of St Johan near cafes and restuarants. Breakfast buffet excellent. Easy access to trains,buses and taxis.

It was quite big, stylish room, but it needs some improvements.

Very uncomfortable beds, small, old TV. In the bathroom no hair dryer, no space to keep your personal staff. Breakfast was OK, but really simple. Our room was above a restaurant which belongs to the hotel, so there was really noise until late night.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this charming hotel in St Johann. The newly refurbished rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated, providing a serene and comfortable atmosphere. The breakfasts were excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the village, with easy access to bars, restaurants, and the nearby train and bus stations. We also took advantage of the village tourist pass, which allowed us to explore the stunning surrounding valleys for hiking and cycling adventures. The complimentary access to the outdoor swimming pool complex was an added bonus. The hotel bar was fantastic, with a skilled barkeeper who served up some amazing drinks. we highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in St Johann.

Hotel is right in the centre, in the pedestrian area. Nearby wellness centre can be used free of charge, just ask for tickets at reception. All staff were very helpful.

Hotel needs a WIFI installation (although there's a (paid) P.C. in reception)
